Bethel Family Health Center has been providing health care to area residents since 1979. In 1999, we joined HealthReach Community Health Centers’ family of eleven practices. Our patients come from Andover, Bethel, Gilead, Greenwood, Hanover, Newry, Upton, and Woodstock, as well as the surrounding towns. In addition, visitors to the Bethel region are welcomed at the health center. 3,908 residents and travelers of all ages sought health care services at Bethel in 2008.

The health center offers a full array of primary care and preventive services for the whole family, including osteopathic manipulation, x-rays, laboratory services and physical therapy. We maintain strong relationships with the Maine Breast and Cervical Health and Maine Tobacco programs.

Located in the mountainous Western region of Maine, Bethel has been named "the greatest ski town in the Universe" by Ski magazine. Both local residents and visitors enjoy Bethel’s extraordinary setting, marked by dazzling lakes, winding rivers, and spectacular views. In 2008, the community set a world record building the World's Tallest SnowWoman at 122'1".
