Established in 1979, Bethel Family Health Center serves families from Andover, Bethel, Gilead, Greenwood, Hanover, Newton, Upton, Woodstock and neighboring towns. In 1999, the practice was welcomed into the HealthReach community of eleven practices. In 2010, 3,767 residents and travelers received care at our practice.

The health center provides a variety of primary care services including osteopathic manipulation, x-rays, lab services, and physical therapy. Patients of all ages benefit from the care offered at our practice. A strong relationship has been maintained between the practice and programs such as Maine Breast and Cervical Health and the Maine Tobacco program.

Bethel has something for every season from hiking and rafting in the summers to skating, skiing, and dog-sledding in the winters. Travelers and residents enjoy community events such as Country Christmas in Bethel and Bethel Winterfest. With classic winter enthusiasm, Bethel set a world record in 2008 for building the world’s largest snowwoman measuring 122'1".
